Folks,   I had been researching how to fix my transmission since the summer.  There is a lot of info on the web that I had to sort thru to find the solution.  I thought Sonnax parts were the best choice for me because they had the only visible literature.  After much soul searching (I’m 53 and never attempted anything like this), I finally decided to jump in and order parts.  I came across your site and your site looked good and appeared to have the cheapest prices.  Initially, your site did not list the reamer I needed, but a quick late night note was answered by Ian the next day.  I ordered the parts and was pleased to see all the choices for shipping…I chose USPS Priority hoping I was in time to get the parts by Saturday.  The parts DID show up on Saturday very professionally packed and addressed.  I managed to get the parts installed and after an extra hour spent looking for the 7 check balls I spilled, the valve body was reinstalled.  The test drive was worrisome as the transmission did not immediately have any reverse and there was a problem with 1st gear.  I decided it was just the spool needing to work into it’s new environment and performance seemed to improve as the transmission got hot.  I decided to tray again tomorrow to see how it acted when cold.  While cleanup the mess, I found the pickup filter I neglected to install.  Took the pan down again and installed the pickup filter and noticed a considerable improvement in the drivability.     I got carried away a bit, I just wanted to let you know I think you guys have an easy to use website and I appreciate that you were able to get me the parts I needed fast and that they were discounted.   Also appreciate not being gouged on the shipping.
