Description   DISCONTINUED> NO LONGER AVAILABLE This kit enables the salvage of the AODE 4R70W transmission case cases when the broken accumulator spring has worn grooves the accumulator bore wall. (LOCKTITE 609 OR 660 is also required). No machining required. More Information Features Common complaints in AODE and 4R70W transmissions are delayed forward engagement and harsh 1-2 shifts caused by the 1-2 accumulator bore in the case being worn or scored. This wear results in the loss of 2nd clutch pressure and the need to replace the case. To salvage these expensive cases and to restore the 1-2 shifts, install a 1-2 accumulator sleeve and piston kit.
