Read before ordering this filter May 30, 2009 Reviewer: Jeff from California, United States   This filter is unlike other Automatic Transmission Filters because the only way to install it is by pulling the entire transmission case and opening it up.  The Honda 6th generation transmission does not have a pan to remove. Also, None of the overhaul manuals in the rebuild kits mention this filter or illustrate where it is positioned inside the casing.  Nor is this filter included with any rebuild kits that I have ever seen.  So if you are cracking open the case, order this along with the rebuild kit.
