The secondary pressure regulator valve in Toyota A340E/F late units receives regulated line fluid pressure from the main pressure regulator valve, and routes it to the converter and lubrication circuits. The continual oscillation of the steel valve within the aluminum casting creates wear, allowing this valuable fluid pressure to exhaust, resulting in converter complaints, burnt apply components and lube-related failures. The Sonnax oversized secondary pressure regulator valve kit 97741-18K restores proper hydraulic clearance in a refurbished bore and includes an O-ringed end plug to positively seal the balance pressure circuit.

Toyota/Lexus vehicles equipped with U660E/F, U760E/F units commonly exhibit a number of symptoms related to line pressure instability. A few of these concerns are poor line rise and clutch/brake slippage, higher than normal pressures in reverse, erratic shifts and low converter feed pressure. These issues can frequently be traced to excess wear in the primary pressure regulator valve bore. To address these problems and restore full hydraulic control, Sonnax offers oversized primary pressure regulator and reverse boost valve kit 47740-02K.
In Toyota and Lexus U660E/F units, the steel OE solenoid modulator valve is prone to side-loading in the bore. This side-loading action, combined with repeated oscillation of the valve, prematurely wears the cast aluminum bore. The result is line pressure leakage and excessive SL, SLT, and SLU solenoid pressure, which floods the solenoids and creates shift quality concerns, solenoid codes, and deviation of proper control pressures available to various valves. Sonnax oversized solenoid modulator valve kit 47740-24K allows you to recondition the bore and install improved components to restore normal solenoid supply pressures.
