The OE. valve will wear the end of the valve land and the edge surface of the valve body bore. This wear causes a loss of line pressure and boost response.Our valve extends the problem land area where the wear occurs and moves the working area more into the valve body bore that has not worn. The extended land gives the valve more stability to help prevent future wear.This valve will work on all years 1992 through 2005.
